CORE has filed discrimination charges against the Chicago Board of Education for its “turnaround” policy, which has a disparate effect on African American and veteran teachers.

    Now that John Kugler has published the June list of tenured teachers who were terminated, someone might want to sit down and figure out how many of those teachers were veterans (and over, say, 40 years old) to complement the EEOC complaint on race discrimination with one on age discrimination.
